I arrived at work an hour later than usual, took a two hour lunch break and rode the 5:10pm Sounder train back home. Interestingly I got more work done than most days.
The long lunch break was the highlight however. Ten people from my office all went to Oasian for dim sum. It was pretty good, save for the chicken feet and beef tripe (I *can* eat both when necessary, but cannot find any compelling reason to). After eating my share of shrimp dumplings, han bao and other high carb Chinese goodies, a few of us branched off and took a tour of the Seattle Public Library. That may sound like a seriously geeky activity, but the building is so unique and interesting, it’s well worth a visit. Check out some of the images. The best written description I can give would be “Alice in Wonderland”.
