Last night I stayed up and watched Floyd Landis on the Tonight Show. I was hoping there’d be some good humorous exchanges between Floyd and Jay Leno, but instead Leno took the low road and attacked Floyd with an ignorant and disrespectful tone that sickened me. Here’s a good recap on Forbes
Anyone who’s followed Floyd for the past several months probably knows how intelligent and funny he can be. He’s a class clown, has an admirable no BS attitude and should’ve been an entertaining guest on the Tonight Show.
The last time I was even remotely this upset about an athlete appearing on a late night show, was just before SuperBowl XL last year, when Matt Hassleback was on The Jimmy Kimmel Show. As you may recall, rather than even give Hassleback even a short token interview, he was forced to play a tamborine alongside the house band.Hollywood types really piss me off some times…
