I don't know if I'll do it again but it is a great challenge. It is always lurking there in the back of my mind. The last ride for me was 2005 at age 59. The heat was definetely a factor. I was exhausted at the top of Cayuse Pass. We also went up to Crystal Mountain and felt OK on that climb. I think high altitude and the heat exhausted me.
